My every project is a dream project : Premanshu singh

After the success of Sajan Chale Sasural, the director of the movie, Premanshu Singh is full of exuberance. He has already started working on his next movie which happens to be produced by Sanyogita Films again. Premanshu gave some of his precious little time to BhojpuriyaCinema.Com and talked about his career and future:

Tell us about your career, how did you start ?

I started with "Ho gailba payar odhaniya wali se". After that I worked as an assistant director for two films, "Ho gailba payar odhaniya wali se” and "Ho gaiynee diwana tohre payar main". Bhaiya ke Sali Odhaniya Wali was my debut film as a director and the latest is "Saajan Chale Casural". The common thing is that all of my films have been produced by Sanyogita Films.

Premanshu ji, Bhojpuri movies have been always accused of copying hindi movies. What’s your take on this ?

This accusation is just not applicable on bhojpuri movies, it’s a common accusation in hindi movies too. The idea of Singham, Ghajini and Wanted are not original. Bengali movies are suffering more than Bhojpuri movies due to copying. Though I, personally, have always tried to give the audience a good family entertainer.

Premanshu ji, when do you bhojpuri film industry will start experimenting ?

The idea of experimentation is on the cards but I think it will take time; it might take 3-4 yrs.

Khesari Lal Yadav is manily a singer who debuted with Sajan Chale Sasural. How hard was it to make him act for the first time?

There was no problem for me working with Khesari. I’m pretty cool about the proceedings and this movie didn’t happen suddenly. We gave him two months time during which he was supposed to understand his role. Though he has not worked in any movies previously, he has done music videos and has faced the audience.

What’s your dream project ?

My every project is a dream project, because my only dream was to become a director.

Whom will you credit for the success of Sajan Chale Sasural?

For me, it’s the team work which makes a movie successful, therefore this success I due to the efforts and hard work of my team.

Who are the people behind your success, who supported you in your bad times?

My two dear friends, Vikaas Singh and Ajay Srivastava who recommended me to Alok Kumar ji for direction, Alok Ji himself and my wife, who has stood by me whenever I am in need.

hiiiiiiii premanshu sir. me pankaj shukla basti ka rahne vala hu lekin me is samay gujrat state me hu me bhi bhojpuri film aur gaano ka bahut saukin hu apki ye film jarur hit hogi kyu ki aapne is film me bahut mehnat ki hai yahi meri bhagvan se dua hai .aur me bhi apke film me kaam karna chata hu .meri umar 20 saal hai me aasha rakhata hu ki aap mujhe ek baar jarur chance denge .me apke reply ka intzar karunga..pankaj shukla you sir
